Article L.6313-4 of the French Labour Code:
The skills assessment mentioned in point 2 of Article L. 6313-1 comprises, under the guidance of the service provider carrying out this assessment, the following three phases:
1. A preliminary phase whose purpose is:
a) To analyze the request and the need of the beneficiary;
b) To determine the format best suited to the situation and the need;
c) To jointly define the procedures for carrying out the assessment;
2° An investigation phase allowing the beneficiary either to build their professional project and verify its relevance, or to develop one or more alternatives;
3. A concluding phase which, through personalized interviews, allows the beneficiary to:
a) To familiarize oneself with the detailed results of the investigation phase;
b) To identify the conditions and means that promote the realization of the professional project(s);
c) To plan the main modalities and stages of the professional project(s), including the possibility of benefiting from a follow-up interview with the skills assessment provider.

In accordance with Article L. 6313-4 of the French Labor Code, a skills assessment can only be carried out with the consent of the individual being assessed. The information gathered and the results of the assessment are subject to confidentiality and cannot be disclosed to any third party without the individual's consent. The professionals conducting the assessment are also bound by professional secrecy in accordance with Articles 226-13 and 226-14 of the French Penal Code.
